On Wednesday, April 13, 2011, Our Lady of Black Rock School will host its annual Science Fair for students in grades 6-8. Each student will submit and display a unique project using experimentation and the scientific method.

The projects will be judged by Pat Trimper, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo, and Annemarie Block, Laboratory Director of the Cytogenetics Lab in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Associate Professor of Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Three cash-prize awards will be given to each grade level and recognition will be given for honorable mentions.
Four students will go on to compete in the WNY Science Congress later in the month.

The school will be open to prospective families who want to join current families in experiencing this exciting event. Tours of the school will be available between 5:30 -- 7:00 PM.
