This great tradition, sponsored by the OLBR 8th grade class, continues as in years past, but this year promises to please your palate with fresh, hot off the griddle pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea, and juice. Also, there will be a mini-basket raffle for you to enjoy. All of the proceeds from this event go directly to help the students fundraising efforts for their class trip to Cleveland, Hope Ribbon day, and Graduation.   read more...

We are currently accepting registrations for students in grades Pre K (4 yr. old) through 8th grade.  Call our office at 873-7497 to set up your personal tour or to request registration materials.  Tuition financial aid is also available. Please be aware that the deadline for applying to the BISON FUND program for tuition assistance is April 30th, so don’t delay!

8th grade class, along with Ms. Mary Lou Wyrobek, conducted a prayer service and blessing of classroom door lintels and classrooms with every grade. This wonderful tradition commemorating the journey of the Magi to Bethlehem correlates with our focus question this week which asks: What helps you be closer to Jesus? read more...

To summarize our Advent project, the students of Our Lady of Black Rock collectively raised $877.  They accomplished this by donating to the cow project in lieu of teacher Christmas gifts, dress down days, and friendly competition between the classrooms and teachers.  Another student incentive was that for every $10 a class raised, they received a white matchbox style cow car” that would be run in our first ever Cow Car Derby. Many classrooms competed to see which class would have the most cow cars to enter into our Cow Car Derby. Our top classroom was the Grade 4 and they raised $190.
