For tuition credit to be valid: Both families involved in the referral need to sign an official OLBR school verification form. Tuition credit for both new and current families will be applied in the 2nd semester of 2014.

 The BISON FUND deadline has now passed. If you have NOT completed paper-work for requalifying your family for next year or have applied as a new BISON family, it is CRITICAL that you take care of this matter as soon as possible. STEP 1- Apply

The checklist is a comprehensive list of all documents needed to register at Our Lady of Black Rock School.  Gather all necessary documents and complete all paperwork, including the application.  All of the necessary forms are available under "Supplemental Registration Paperwork."

Mail or hand deliver the materials using the enclosed envelope to Our Lady of Black Rock School, main office.  Copies of original documents (birth certificates, etc.) can be made by school staff. 

Your application cannot be processed until all documents listed on the checklist are received.

STEP 2- Schedule and Attend an Enrollment Interview
Once your application materials are received we will contact you to schedule an appointment for you and your child(ren) to meet with the principal to discuss your child(ren)’s future and if Our Lady of Black Rock School is right for you. We can address any questions or concerns about your child’s education you may have. 

Ensuring that Our Lady of Black Rock School is the best fit for your child(ren) is our first priority.  We also consider your child(ren)’s grades and state assessment scores and insure your family is in good standing with your child(ren)’s previous school.  

STEP 3 (Pre-K4 and Kindergarten Applicants Only) - Schedule & Attend Readiness Screening
The Pre-K4/Kindergarten teacher will meet with your child to conduct a quick readiness screening to ensure that he/she will succeed in the classroom.
 

Once accepted there is a one hundred ($100.00) dollar Registration Fee per child. Once your Registration fee is received, your child(ren) has secured a spot in his/her grade level. Checks can be made out to Our Lady of Black Rock School.

TUITION
The BISON Scholarship Fund is available to families based on financial need. Applications are available to download and print under "Financial Aid," and hard copies are available in the school office. We strongly encourage everyone to apply!

Tuition rates for the 2013-2014 school year are as follows:

* In order to receive the parishioner rate your family must be an active participant of any Roman Catholic parish.  You will receive Parishioner rate only when we receive a completed Parishioner Verification form that is signed by the pastor of your parish.  Please note that it is your responsibility to have your application form signed.  All other families will be charged Non-parishioner rates.  Parishes presume consistent church support to receive the parishioner rate.

Fundraising is a necessity through Home School Activities for everyone. Every family is required to support the Home School Association fundraisers. These funds supplement your tuition payments and provide essential items used in the school by everyone.
